Pressure vessels and tanks

Flaretec provides full in house capability to both design and manufacture pressure vessels to codes such as ASME VIII Divisions 1 & 2, PD5500 Cat 1/2/3, BS EN13445 & BS4994. We have over thirty years of experience in globally delivering quality products and have a proven track record in delivering cutting edge, effective solutions.

Flaretec is capable of producing a range of pressure vessels and tanks including:
  • ASME U Stamp Process Vessels, Refractory Lined Vessels, Rubber Lined /Glass Flaked Vessels
  • Filter Housings, Surge Tanks
  • Heat Exchangers, Air Receivers
    • Flaretec uses materials such as carbon and stainless steel, alloys including duplex, super-duplex, chrome molybdenum, ASTM A516 and low temperature A333. Vessels can be supplied as part of a packaged unit and Flaretec can also retro-fit process internals to an existing vessel to suit exact requirements of brown field sites.

    • Flaretec has prior experience accommodating numerous company, national and international standards. These have included: National Board Registration, Pressure Equipment Regulations, Drinking Water Inspectorate, numerous DNV requirements and Australian Standards such as AS1210.

    • Typical vessels can also be manufactured and supplied with an internal lining known as strip cladding. Strip cladding width varies but commonly is between 20-70mm. It is a fusion welding technique used to deposit a strip of weld metal onto a component. This achieves metal build-up and provides a corrosion resistant surface.

    • Flaretec has procedures and technologies to deliver multi-disciplinary, bespoke engineering solutions globally in a cost-effective way. Flaretec is operating under the Hepheastus Holdings umbrella. Diffusion Alloys, which is in the same group is a specialist coating company and both manufactures and applies many advanced coating technologies.
